Who We Are

Welcome to the League of Women Voters of Corpus Christi Area! Serving voters since 1945, the Corpus Christi League works diligently to fulfill our mission - "Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy."  We are primarily known for our nonpartisan work in voters service - registering people to vote, providing the League's nonpartisan Voters Guide, and educating  ourselves and the community on timely issues with  discussions or speakers.

The League of Women Voters of Corpus Christi Area is a nonpartisan, grassroots civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. The League works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the League is open to people 16 and older of all gender identities. With over 100 years of experience, the League is one of America’s oldest and most trusted civic nonprofit organizations. Are you looking for a way to get involved? Any level of involvement is appreciated. Join us as we "Make Democracy Work!"
